Darrin Wallace, ’05 and Kimberly Williams, ’09
Darrin Wallace, (Liberal Studies), and Kimberly Williams, (Master’s, School Counseling), were married on March 9 at the Burroughs Home in Fort Myers. Wallace is a basketball coach at Canterbury High School, and Williams is the owner of Forever Yours Boutique and is employed in the FGCU Office of Alumni Relations.
Ken Beauvais, ’09
Ken Beauvais, (Computer Information Systems), is the co-founder of Schedu.ly, an application to help users stay on time by integrating real-time traffic and location data into your schedule to alert you when it is necessary to leave to make your next meeting. Schedu.ly was awarded third place overall Hackathon App 2012 at the Mobile App Hackathon (Miami) by AT&T. Beauvais and his wife, Denisha, live in Fort Lauderdale.
Jessica Carter, ’09
Jessica Carter, (Human Performance), has been sworn in as a member of the Lee Memorial Health System Executive Board of Directors District 5.
Ashley Jennings, ’09
Ashley Jennings, (Management), has joined Ted Todd Insurance Agency as a licensed insurance agent. She holds a Florida 4-40 insurance and real estate license. She assists clients with property and casualty insurance policies to protect them from unexpected financial losses.

Tiffany Kesterson, (Management), has joined Ted Todd Insurance Agency as a licensed insurance agent. She assists clients with property and casualty insurance needs to ensure they are financially protected against life’s uncertainties.

Bobbie Jo Akenson, ’09
Bobbie Jo Akenson (Management), and Joey Crouse have announced their engagement. They will marry in July. Akenson is the general manager of Great Cravings. They live in Alexandria, Va.
Katherine Liebl, ’09
Katherine Liebl (Master’s, School Counseling), and Josh Hammond announced their engagement. Liebl is a school counselor at Caloosa Middle School.
Bobby Zandstra, ’09
Bobby Zandstra (Bioengineering), and Kimberly Vincent have announced their engagement. Zandstra is a systems architect engineer with the U.S. Army, Dover, Del. An August wedding is planned.
Kaylie Brown, ’09
Kaylie Brown (Master’s, Business Administration), is the senior autoship specialist at the Home Shopping Network in St. Petersburg.
Tiffany Esposito-Kittinger, ’09
Tiffany Esposito-Kittinger (Communication), a member of the Southwest Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), recently earned professional public relations accreditation and received the designation of Accredited in Public Relations (APR). She currently serves as the communications manager at the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
Susan Hamley, ’09
Susan Hamley (Nursing), has graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a master’s in science in health law. She has been accepted into Barry University’s doctor of philosophy in nursing program.
Krista Johnson, ’09
Krista Johnson (Psychology), is the exhibition coordinator for the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers. She also paints and is the singer/songwriter for the pop rock group, The Bettie Page Boys.
