Charles Faramo, (Management), and Talia Ferreira, (Resort and Hospitality Management), have announced their engagement. An October wedding is planned. They live in Orlando.
Michael Nachef, ’10 and Felicia Walker, ’11
Michael Nachef, (Political Science), and Felicia Walker, (Finance), were married Nov. 18 at the Marco Island Marriott. Nachef works as a legislative aid for state Sen. Garrett Richter. Walker is a talent consultant for Career Builders. They live in Fort Myers.
Keith Von Behren, ’10
Keith Von Behren, (Master’s, Business Management), and Danielle Von Behren welcomed the birth of their son, Kaden James, on July 25.
Michael Jaskolka, ’10
Michael Jaskolka, (Communication), has joined the FGCU alumni-owned real estate company, Priceless Realty, as a licensed Florida Realtor. He will focus on residential sales throughout Lee County.

Emily Borcherding (Criminal Forensic Studies), and Benjamin Young are engaged. They are planning a June wedding.
Angela Hicks, ’10
Angela Hicks (Art), has been appointed youth education director for the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs. Hicks will oversee the center’s youth programming for summer camps, after-school art classes and outreach programs.
Shane Lince, ’10
Shane Lince (Civil Engineering), was accepted to Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute. Previously, he won two fellowship awards from the National Institutes of Health’s post-baccalaureate research program, during which he conducted research at the National Cancer Institute and the National Eye Institute.
Brad Masquelier, ’10
Brad Masquelier (Civil Engineering), has recently been hired by Waldrop Engineering to work in its civil engineering department.
Blake Neumann, ’10
Blake Neumann (Criminal Justice), has been accepted to the University of Florida School of Law.
Jeffrey Shafer, ’10
Jeffrey Shafer (Communication), is the director of marketing at the law offices of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. He is responsible for implementing and managing all marketing and communications for the law firm’s five offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Lehigh Acres and Port Charlotte.
Jarrett Yingling, ’10
Jarrett Yingling (Finance), is the research analyst on the hedge fund team at NEPC, a full-service investment consulting firm in Massachusetts.
