Every fall, FGCU students gather to compete in the 24 Hour Festival, creating works of visual and performing arts for a chance to win a scholarship in one of three categories: Static Visual Art, Moving Picture, and Live Performance.  On Friday night, the students are given a list of elements that must be present in their piece, and only 24 hours to complete it in.  On Saturday night, the works are presented, and judges select the winning projects based on creativity, craft, and use of elements.
